Every piece from seaofsydney begins at the shoreline — a pocketful of shells, a jar of seawater, a note on how the harbour held that morning. Back in the studio these become slow, layered paintings in oil and cold wax, built the way a shell is built: ring by ring, luminous underneath.
Works are sold unframed or float-framed in pale oak. Each ships with a signed certificate and a single shell from the day it was painted.
